Legal Research Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in case building for universal jurisdiction trials
  • Analyze legal documents and open-source evidence
  • Draft legal memos and summaries

Requirements:

  • Degree in law, international human rights, or related field
  • Knowledge of IHL/IHRL and Syrian legal context
  • Fluency in Arabic and English

Forensic Analyst (Consultancy Basis)

Tasks:

  • Assist in analysis of mass graves and anthropological findings
  • Write forensic reports and affidavits

Desirable:

  • Background in forensic anthropology or medicine
  • Experience in post-conflict contexts

Field Interviewer (Northeast Syria Focus)

đź“ŤRemote/Field-based

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with families of the missing
  • Enter data into secure platforms
  • Follow trauma-informed and ethical documentation guidelines

Required:

  • Previous experience in field interviews
  • Knowledge of Kurdish/Arabic
  • Familiarity with psychosocial dynamics
